Senior SSAS Administrator

Our Client, a Chartered Financial Advisory firm based in a sought-after location in Nottingham are looking to recruit an experienced Senior SSAS Administrator to join their growing team! 

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Candidate provide technical support to clients and professionals alike, specifically in respect of matters relating to property and employer-related investments. 

• Maintenance of Scheme records, contribution schedules and Member allocations.
• “Cradle to Grave” SSAS Administration
• Dealing with day-to-day enquiries from Trustees/ Members.
• Preparation of documentation for regular review, and ad-hoc meetings with Trustees.
• Attendance at Trustee meetings as required
• Dealing with all aspects of a death claim
• Valuations and preparation of annual statements for SSAS
• Issuing fee invoices
• Investment Reports
• Dealing with Day-to-Day enquiries from related parties (Advisers/ Accountants/ Designated Contacts).
• Collecting information for SSAS Annual Accounts
• Calculating Pension Crystallisation Benefits
• Scheme transfers and closures (e.g. wind ups)
• Completion of Registered Pension Scheme Returns and Pensions Regulator returns
• Processing of relevant Tax matters (VAT, PAYE, etc.)

It is essential you have experience with cradle-to-grave pensions administration
Broad technical knowledge applicable to SSAS(s)
Maintaining awareness of Regulatory and Legislative changes, and subsequent effect(s) upon SSAS(s)
Ability to apply knowledge to deal with technical queries
