They are currently seeking a Senior Sous Chef for one of their established award-winning destination food led pubs with rooms. The venue is multi award winning and is highly acclaimed with a strong local following and people from further afield.
This role of Senior Sous Chef comes with forward progression within the group for the right candidate.
As Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day to day operation of the kitchen and brigade this will include the ongoing coaching and development of the team to ensure they reach their full potential.
You will be working with the Head Chef regarding menu ideas and be creative over the menus and specials in keeping with the concept and expected standards.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the health and hygiene and safety is maintained in the kitchen at all times.
As Sous Chef, you must be highly organised, and results driven and have excellent overall kitchen management competencies.
Our client is a seeking Sous Chef that has current experience within a high-quality food led pub or restaurant, this must be ideally a minimum of a 2-rosette standard.
This role may suit an existing Sous Chef looking for a new challenge or a Head Chef looking for a new challenge.
It is essential you can demonstrate leadership skills and be capable of assisting with the training and development of the brigade.
Salary and Benefits:
The Salary for this permanent role of Senior Sous Chef is a basic Salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience you will also receive a generous share of gratuities approx. £3000 - £4000 per year. Health Cover, Sick Pay, Pension. Christmas Eve and Day off!
