Senior Solution Architect

Our client is a successful software company offering direct supply, installation and support of Data Protection and Recovery solutions to large SME, Corporate and Public Sector accounts. Recent years have seen successful entry into new markets, with exciting new product offerings.
They are currently looking for a proven Senior Solution Architect to work alongside other team members. You will be part of a team to provide IT services to a prestigious event.
You will help define and deliver future IT solutions to other prestigious events around the world. This is a 2 year permanent engagement for an experienced Technical Architect used to working at a senior level to help implement a modern workplace using the Microsoft Cloud services (Office365 EM+S and Azure) and or other SaaS technologies to deliver all IT services to the organisation.
You should be able to work in an innovate way to ensure best value to meet the key requirements. You will work with the client’s Senior Enterprise Architect and other senior Technology stakeholders to execute the programme strategy.
Familiarity with architecture frameworks and disciplines, such as TOGAF, would be an advantage. ITIL and/or PRINCE2 certification would also be desirable.
The successful candidates must undergo security clearance unless the candidate already has security clearance.
Skills and Experience:
Experienced Transformation Leader and Technical Architect
Experience of developing customised solutions to complex business problems
Demonstrable programme level Solution Architect
Experience of Business Change and Transformation
Flexible and collaborative approach to thinking, planning and design
Supports the Senior Enterprise Architect to scope the strategic approach in terms of technical and IT Security deliverables
Broad technical knowledge and experience across Microsoft O365 and Modern Workplace technologies; IT and Cyber Security; network (in conjunction with the Telecom suppliers), cloud-based applications and all elements of the target operating model
Works with minimal direction
Communicates fluently to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
Influencing and decision-making affecting customers, suppliers and third parties
Plans own work and that of others and able to review the work of others
Has an analytical and systemic approach to investigate, define and resolve the most complex issues
Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and procedures
Contribute to the definition and adherence to all architectural standards, principles and best practice, ensuring they are adopted and tested
Supports the Senior Enterprise Architect in definition and production of all documentation associated with the project
