Senior Software Engineer - SaaS and Payments London (4 days onsite) £80,000 to £100,000 base plus package
A high-growth B2B fintech scale-up transforming how complex industries handle payments and financial workflows are growing their engineering team! They're profitable, well-funded, and engineering-led, and as their newest Engineer you'll shape their core platform and take ownership of critical features.
This is a hands-on senior role where you can influence the technical direction, own features and build software that has a real impact.
As a software engineer you will:
Build and scale end-to-end features across the full stack using .NET and React
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to deliver robust, high-performance solutions
Design, maintain and optimise cloud-based services on AWS, GCP or Azure
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, testing and version control practices
Solve complex technical problems and deliver simple, user-friendly solutions
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and engineers to ship high-quality software
Bring your experience in SaaS and payments to influence product and architecture decisions
We are looking for someone with:
A minimum of 5+ software engineering experience, ideally including startup or scale-up environments
Hands-on experience across full-stack development using .NET and modern JavaScript frameworks
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, web technologies and database design
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and a track record of driving projects end-to-end
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
