We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in our London office to design and develop software solutions. In this role you would participate on various engineering projects, implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost savings and standardization through analysis of designs and problem-solving techniques. You’d need to maintain understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and product applications and be the local expert in assigned projects. In addition, you would write and maintain application technical documentation as required, provide technical training to other team members and evaluate new hardware / software for company use.

The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level and ideally have 5 or more years of software development experience with a complied language (C#,C++, Java) as well as proven experience with a web development framework (preferably ASP.NET), client-side technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), relational database engine (preferably MSSQL) and writing automated unit tests (Microsoft Unit Test Framework, JUnit, or similar).

You’d also be able to work with source control systems, (preferably Git or similar), work iteratively on a close team preferably with Agile methodologies and be able to show evidence of working with Object-Oriented development and design patterns.

The following skills would also be a benefit:

  • VB.NET experience.
  • Experience of working with cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
  • Knowledge of Windows Server architecture
  • Angular application development experience.
  • Experience working with legacy systems.
  • Test Driven Development experience
  • UX/UI Design experience.
  • Experience working in a GxP or similar regulated environment (banking, securities, defense, etc.)
