An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Sister to lead the team in Chemotherapy Day Case and Oncology Outpatients.
Fal is a busy Chemotherapy Day Case Unit who provide care for patients with Oncology conditions. We treat patients with a range of complex therapeutic interventions including Immunotherapies, Blood transfusions, Chemotherapy and other supportive infusions.
The Oncology Outpatient Department supports consultant led oncology and haematology clinics. Pre-interventional talks are held with patient to discuss treatment options for new cancer diagnoses. These talks are held in the department and some treatments are delivered.
The post holder will provide Clinical Nurse Management, Clinical Leadership & expertise in all aspects of service delivery and have responsibility for the department budget.
Applicants should have recent relevant experience in a leadership capacity in Oncology at Band 6. Have good clinical skills & knowledge in all aspects of Chemotherapy delivery.
