Job Title: Shop Supervisor
Your primary responsibility is serving and advising customers.
Your job involves interacting with customers who come into the shop and answering any questions that they may have. You are responsible for taking orders and dealing with payment for items sold.
You work as part of a team, and must be helpful, friendly and polite at all times. You also need to reliable, honest and responsible. Youmay be required to work long hours, holidays, overtime or on weekends.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- managing orders and administration
keeping track of stock outstanding and due dates, communicating with suppliers and customers
maintaining stock counts and general administration of the ordering and stock-keeping process
collating customer orders in the order book and passing those orders onto the management.
cashing up, with assistance from other staff members.
Serving and advising customers
helping customers to find the goods they want, taking payment and advising on stock levels
giving information on products and prices
stacking shelves or displaying goods in an attractive way
handling complaints or passing them on to a manager
Working with other staff members & company directors
report to your line manager and work constructively with other staff to help us create and maintain a successful shop of the very highest standards
help us create a stimulating, helpful, enjoyable and knowledgeable shop environment
listen to the management and carry out their directions
taking delivery of new stock from couriers and suppliers
unpacking, checking and labelling new stock
conducting stock takes
working with other staff members to arrange stock around the shop
