Senior Service Advisor/ Assistant Service Manager required in Northampton, Northamptonshire

Salary: Circa £28,500 Basic Dependent on experience + Bonuses £34,000 OTE +

Monday - Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays on rota

Our client, a prestige main dealership is currently seeking to recruit an Automotive Senior Service Advisor / Assistant Service Manager to join their busy professional aftersales team.

The ideal candidate will have:

Motor trade experience as a senior service advisor

Excellent customer communication skills (face to face and telephone)

A genuine passion to deliver customer satisfaction

Ability to motivate and coach a team and be the number 2 in the department

Attention to detail

Motor Trade DMS experience - Kerridge, 1link

The ability to work well in a team

Outstanding computer and administration skills

Excellent organisation and time management

A stable career history

A full UK driving licence

About the role:

Covering for the Service Manager

Overseeing a team of service advisor

Liaising with customers face to face and on the telephone

Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required on their vehicles in a professional manner

Providing advice on estimate costs of repairs or works to be undertaken

To sell additional products, appropriate to customers' needs

Advice on timescales and vehicle collection arrangements
