Senior SEO Manager

Salary up to £50,000 per annum

Brighton, East Sussex

Talent Hub is working in partnership with an international tech company based in Brighton. The Senior SEO Manager job is responsible for coordinating and implementing SEO strategies for their clients. This job involves interacting with clients as well as working closely with other team members to ensure that the objectives of the client are fully understood and met.

Responsibilities for the Senior SEO Manager include:

  • Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy - driving customer strategy across a broad range of customers and advising them on how to tackle their key business challenges to meet business objectives
  • Managing the day-to-day project flow, ensuring projects are kept on-schedule and on-budget
  • Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated with SEO strategy
  • Educating internal and customer teams, building a better understanding of the role of SEO within the marketing mix
  • Work closely with multiple internal teams to deliver high quality work across planning and insight, SEO and analytics
  • Supporting the wider team in the preparation of new business proposals and pitches
  • Communication to clients, team, and management on strategy/ project development, timelines, and results

For this Senior SEO Manager job you will need:

  • Excellent up-to-date technical SEO capability
  • Advanced understanding of SEO issues and techniques for both B2B and B2C
  • 3 or more years in technical SEO roles
  • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple clients of different sizes and scopes simultaneously
  • Ability to confidently discuss a variety of digital marketing themes with a range of audiences
  • High level of computer literacy, including advanced Excel
  • Familiarity with common SEO tools, e.g., GA, Abode Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Majestic, etc
  • High level of competency in HTML and CSS, with working knowledge of client side and server-side scripting, web server configuration, etc.
  • Understanding of PPC and social and their relationships with SEO
  • Understanding of related disciplines e.g., UX, IA, CRO, content management, web development
