Senior SAM Consultant (home based anywhere in the UK)

We are working with a Global IT Solutions Provider who have won multiple awards in the UK and across EMEA including Best Workplace for Tech companies and Best Workplace for Wellbeing. Their SAM Services division is a highly skilled team of SAM Optimisation professionals and due to ongoing success, they are now recruiting for a Senior Consultant to join their team in the UK. This can be a homeworking role but will require some travel to the office to meet peers and to attend customer meetings.
The role:
The Senior Consultant is responsible for providing consultancy support to clients, acting as a key resource for managed services across the software lifecycle to deliver a wide variety of licensing solutions.
The Senior Consultant owns the delivery of the defined license consulting service and will have access to the resources & methodologies provided by the central Services organization. Responsibilities of the Senior Consultant includes:
• Adopt a proactive approach to engaging with local account teams to build an understanding of the client requirements and help drive the delivery of solutions.
• Analyse and process client data to perform licensing reconciliation services, data quality assessments, and review of licensing agreements and usage rights.
• Utilise knowledge of software licensing to support the EMEA wide licensing desk, internal team-mate queries and any client questions regarding licensing.
• Support internal Sales team-mates to ensure the efficient delivery of license consulting services to clients.
• Acts as a technical pre-sales advisor to account managers and sales associates.
- The Senior Consultant combines strong interest and skills in license consulting solutions with a keen desire to advance customer operations to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Innovative IT solutions License Consulting experience
- Strong business acumen translating business requirements to IT strategies
- Capable of leading CXO level engagements, influencing strategy.
- Consulting Practise Expertise: Pre-Sales & Consulting Delivery; proven track record in driving profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Consulting Practise Expertise: Strong background in consulting, demonstrated through broad experience in a consulting environment, gained with a leading system integrator or management consulting firm
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Good customer relationship management skills and ability to interface seamlessly with sales staff
- Consulting Practise Expertise: Pre-Sales & Consulting Delivery; proven track record in driving profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to independently manage projects.
- Holding relevant vendor accreditation and project management certifications.
- Strong knowledge, especially in the area of Microsoft
