Niche managed service provider specialising in backup, storage and disaster recovery requires a Senior Sales Manager/Director with experience in selling services in IT infrastructure. With direct experience in shaping infrastructure-as-a-service solutions, you will be selling at all levels including C-Suite.
Drive sales with an emphasis on a broad service based offering to major corporates, whilst providing a consultative approach.
Develop client relationships and explore requirements for services that are broader than the current offering before working with Pre-sales, Head of Managed Services and CEO to assess ability to deliver.
Work with prospects, clients and internal stakeholders to develop tailored propositions rather than generic services.
Emphasis on growing a client base with a focus on large, quality deals rather than quantity.
Experience and knowledge:
A minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in selling services at C-Level in outsourcing, out-tasking, managed services or cloud infrastructure space.
Proven track record of working with both mid-size and enterprise clients.
Consultative approach with a good technical knowledge and ability to have informed conversations with senior technical clients and prospects. Knowledge of storage and backup domains is essential, knowledge of networks and server desirable.
Must be inquisitive and have some understanding of infrastructure strategy and transformation although sales in these areas is not the focus.
