Journey Recruitment are working exclusively with this award winning organisation and we are looking for 5 new team members who will sell apprenticeships and upskill existing employees.
What is this job all about?
This job is all about changing peoples lives, giving them their first chance on the career ladder or enhancing peoples current jobs by upskilling and giving those people additional certified qualifications. With everything that has happened in 2020, the need to upskill employees and give people that first chance in life, has never been so crucial! The crux of the role is selling quality IT apprenticeship services and tech skills to UK companies small and large.
How do I do that?
You do that by contacting customers and selling them apprenticeship and training solutions. Some of the customers will be existing, others will be lapsed and others cold…..BUT you will be working with a fabulous marketing team that will always be giving you hot leads as well! All of the apprenticeships and upskilling that you are offering is within the area of technology and full training will be provided for you. This is a company that invests in their staff, that offers you a structured career path and really cares!
Initially, due to current circumstances, you will be based from home, however, in time you will be in the office about 2 or 3 times a week and at home 2 times a week (on average). You will also be visiting your clients at their premises in the future as this is so important for good relationship building and establishing a rapport.
What skills and experience do I need for this job?
Proven sales ability is needed and ex Recruiters do tend to gravitate towards this role as well as people who have been involved in the sales of training or IT or similar.
You will need to be tenacious, ambitious and keen to earn a lot of commission!
What will I earn?
You will receive a basic salary of between £25,000-£29,000
On top of this, you will receive commission (a very realistic £12,000 on top of your basic salary)
Additionally it is worth mentioning that this commission is completely uncapped and some team members are currently earning a LOT more!
