Senior Sales Account Manager (South)

Yorkshire Dales Distillery is a small family run distillery based in Richmond, North Yorkshire. We have a close working relationship with our customers and pride ourselves on being professional and friendly at all times. As a Small Batch Artisan Distillery, we undertake every aspect of the creation, development, distilling and bottling of each and every product we produce. Using hand selected Yorkshire botanicals and an ancient natural mineral water drawn from The Dales, provinence is at the heart of our business.

Yorkshire Dales Distillery is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager to join the expanding Team. The successful candidate will be based from home in Leeds or nearby with responsibility for an area including Lincolnshire, East, West and South Yorkshire, Humberside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the southern part of the Yorkshire Dales. We are looking for a strong team player with the ability to work independently; industry experience is essential.

Start April/May 2018.

Essential Requirements

  • Computer literacy - PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Essential Experience

  • Work within the beer, wine & spirits industry
  • Account management in the on/off-trade
  • Proven track record at delivering new business

Desirable Experience

  • Territory sales role
  • Account management with regional/national wholesalers and multiple retail groups

  • A proven ability to engage effectively with decision makers
  • Commercially astute with the drive to take ownership and accountability of results
  • Good project planning skills and the ability to deliver
