Aon are currently recruiting a Risk Benefits Co-ordinator to join our team in Birmingham/ Homebased Midlands. The Risk Benefits Co-ordinator will be primarily responsible for assisting with the administration of current and prospective clients for all Group Risk contracts including Group Life, Partners Life, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness and Flexible Benefits.

About the Role

Your impact as a Risk Benefits Co-ordinator:

  • Preparing documentation for client meetings
  • Compiling detailed rebroking specifications within agreed timescales, including liaison with the client and current/previous insurer, as appropriate
  • Submitting and monitoring rebroking Specifications to the Broking team within agreed timescales, acting as the main contact point for any queries that may arise.
  • Processing both new business on risk submission and renewal requirements with relevant insurers, checking that all requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Carefully checking any insurance company Accounts and Invoices prior to issuing to the client
  • Ensuring Policy Documentation precisely reflects the basis requested by the client, checking all relevant terms and definitions
  • Compiling regular Medical Underwriting Schedules, liaising with both the insurer and client to ensure that the underwriting process is completed satisfactorily
  • Preparing regular Claim Communication Reports for clients to ensure that any claims are managed efficiently on behalf of the client 
  • Ongoing use of TBS software system to ensure all scheme matters are closely monitored, chased and actioned within acceptable timescales
