The Research Management and Administration Unit is a centrally managed Unit, which as part of the Research Office, is responsible for the Research Management and Administration of University Research across University Research Centres. Through its provision of professional research project management and administrative support. The Research Management and Administration Unit supports the achievement of quality research and contributes towards the University’s Research Strategy and its Research Capability.
The Senior Research Delivery Support Partner will support the University's research staff with the successful delivery of their externally funded UKRI projects. The post holder will operate at an institutional level and work across the University's Research Centres. This post holder will require a post-graduate qualification in a discipline of relevance to one of the University's research areas, along with Prince 2 [or equivalent] and have funder knowledge of the UK Research Councils now UKRI which brings together the seven Research Councils, Innovate UK the new Research England. Significant experience of the higher education sector, a detailed knowledge of research funding and experience of project managing high value government and/or commercial funder research contracts is essential.
