Job Description: Key role sitting in Regulatory & Legacy projects team, supporting the Group Technical Lead on regulatory technical matters to ensure consistency of approach and assessment of customer and regulatory impacts.

The role-

  • Working closely with the senior management team to review the Legacy book
  • Manage projects around regulatory and legacy matters
  • Lead on regulatory technical matters across the portfolio as directed
  • Support the co-ordination and input to legacy and regulatory programmes
  • Deliver regulatory and technical assessment and decision making, including liaison with SMEs to ensure appropriate technical support is built into the portfolio
  • Identify and escalate emerging risks and issues
  • Support the Technical lead by preparing key communications for Steering Committees, Executive Committees and Board as appropriate
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of FCA regulations

Key Requirements-

  • Experience of understanding and communicating complex issues
  • Worked in the Life and Pensions industry or have experience gained at the regulator or consultancy and has a recent working knowledge of FCA regulations and the regulatory agenda
  • Up to date knowledge of regulatory and industry trends including FCA expectations, customer outcomes and relevant parts of the FCA handbook
  • Ability to work flexibility across a number of several priority areas
  • Communicates clearly with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive
