Senior Recruitment Consultant / Department Manager
Location: Darlington
Salary: £negotiable + lucrative uncapped commission structure + future share options!

Role Purpose:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a North East based recruitment business that is experiencing unprecedented growth since our inception. We are keen to continue this trajectory by appointing an experienced recruiter to lead and develop one of our core divisions.

Role Responsibilities:

Administration Responsibilities:

  • Updating CRM and external job boards
  • Formatting CV’s into Imperial format although you will get support from this from Administrator
  • Compiling management information around specific recruitment projects
  • Creating a paper and electronic trail of all job opportunities
  • Permanent and temporary recruitment REC standard compliance

Sales and Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Outbound B2B sales, cold, warm and lead generation calls
  • Face to face client meetings
  • Market and business analysis
  • Compiling spreadsheets for specific marketing
  • Creation of mailers and strategic e-shots and hard copy mailers
  • Territory mapping and attending networking events

Recruitment Specific Responsibilities:

  • Advert creation although you will get support on this from Administrator
  • Dissecting job specifications and creating search maps for each vacancy
  • Application management from 'cradle to grave’
  • Candidate management
  • Screening candidate’s vs job specification
  • Sourcing candidates through various job platforms
  • Candidate database building in core business areas
  • Interviewing candidates face to face
  • Taking the brief from a client and understanding the needs of their business

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategically grow temporary and permanent business within the organisation.
  • Build and maintain a candidate network in your specialist field
  • Account management dealing with both lapsed and current clients
  • Digital and direct marketing
  • Market and industry analysis
  • Working to KPI’s and profitability targets

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • A proven track record of successful fee delivery within the recruitment sector
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment
  • A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
