Salary £60,000 to £75,000 + Car /Allowance + 25 days Holiday + Pension

The Opportunity
A excellent role has arisen working for an exceptional and well-respected National Residential Developer based in Surrey. My client is searching for a competent and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business with responsibility over 4 sites.

The Role
You will be a knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor from a housing background. One who is charismatic when dealing with clients and their professional teams, but also firm when required. You will be commercially savvy with a focus on maximising profit.

You will be responsible for all aspects of quantity surveying from early construction phases including measurement, valuation and managing payment applications throughout the project to final accounts.

Assist with the negotiation of sub-contract orders.

Analysing and reporting on costs and cash flow vs budget.

Undertaking accurate viability/feasibility studies to support decision-making in site acquisition and development.

Preparing tenders and procure sub-contractors, goods and materials.

Preparing sub-contract order requisitions.

Maintaining sub-contract payment/charges registers.

Carrying out of weekly sub-contract payments.

Producing weekly cost and value reports.

Managing centralised cost allocation system.

Provide feedback on commercial matters to management.

Other commercial administration activities as may be required from time to time.

Desirable Criteria:
Degree/HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or a Construction related subject.
Experience working for a developer or contractor.
Experience overseeing multiple projects.
Ideally a member of a professional institution (RICS or MCIOB)
