Senior Quantity Surveyor - Residential - New Homes

We are working with a leading national House Builder who are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver residential projects throughout the region.

You will take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of residential schemes in in order to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage the control of all day to day commercial issues.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing subcontractor packages
  • Subcontractor negotiation
  • Cost value reconciliation
  • Producing cost reports
  • Subcontractor payments / processing applications for payments
  • Valuations
  • Variations
  • Final accounts

Senior Quantity Surveyor Essential Experience:

  • Degree or other technical qualification
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor or Residential House Builder (Resi experience)
  • Experienced in delivering Residential projects
  • RICS / CIOB qualification - Preferred
  • COINS experience preffered
