We have an exciting secondment opportunity within partnerships for a year and will have key leadership roles across the Partnerships services to make substantial contributions to ensuring clinical care and services are high quality, safe, effective and person centred. You will support the associate Chief Nurse to provide professional leadership and exemplify positive behaviours and attitudes for nursing services/staff within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC), supporting the aim that clinical staff possesses the right values, knowledge and skills required for effective service development. They will also take a role in supporting innovation, leadership and the strategic direction of Excellence in Care and provide professional advice on Excellence in Care across NHSGGC Board and be an autonomous practitioner accountable for leading and implementing quality improvement methodologies. You will also support and implement approaches to build capacity and capability in improvement science that supports the implementation of EiC and the Board's Quality objectives. This includes delivering a range of improvement science methodological training to various audience across the Board and be able to demonstrate skills and experience in coaching, mentoring and advising others in the application of improvement science and methodologies in practice. Applicants should be Registered Nurse, educated to Degree level with substantial post-registration experience and have a Masters or working towards one would be desirable. It's anticipated that applications would either possess or be working towards an improvement qualification e.g. SciLs/SQSF etc. potential applicants must seek support to be released as per the terms of the secondment from their manager prior to application.
