Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Dublin

Kate Edwards is recruiting for a QA Specialist to join a biotechnology manufacturer who are one of the worlds leading suppliers of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical medicines. This is a contract position with an initial term until the 31st of October 2018 to join the team on their site in Dun Laoghaire (South Dublin) with an hourly rate on offer up to €45phr with a 20% shift allowance.

This role is based on a shift pattern and will be working on a two shift system covering early and late shifts. Week 1 will consist of working 7am - 3pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am - 2pm. Week 2 will consist of working Monday to Thursday 2:30pm - 10:30pm and Friday 1:30pm to 8:30pm.

Our client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of biosimilar and biopharmaceutical products used in the treatment of a wide range of human healthcare conditions from cancer to arthritis. This company are a strong believer in helping patients by developing new treatments and taking them to market via their global network of specialist aseptic manufacturing, packaging and distribution sites.
This role is located on a state of the art manufacturing facility based in Dun Laoghaire and is a quick 30 minute drive away from the centre of Dublin, or 60 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. The site is easily commutable from Kildare or Wicklow by car and there is a good public transport network if you would prefer to live within Dublin itself. Dun Laoghaire is a vibrant cultural hub in south Dublin which is best known for its maritime history and locally caught sea food.

The Role
As a Senior QA Associate you will be responsible for acting as the on site representative for manufacturing quality issues and implementing resolutions. Further duties of the role include investigating non-conformance through root cause investigations, developing and implementing CAPAs, writing and implementing SOP updates and overall quality oversight on the manufacturing line.

Your Background
The ideal candidate for this role with have a degree or equivalent qualification in science or a related subject with extensive QA experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environment. As this position is needed to hit the ground running previous experience of investigating root cause and implementing CAPAs is essential.

The Benefits
This role is offering an hourly pay rate of up to €45phr + 20% shift allowance for a contract until the 31st of October 2018 initial contract.
