Senior QA / Test Engineer

Senior QA Engineer / Tester - Norwich/ Remote - Salary DOE (£30,000 - £50,000)

We have a brand-new test role available for a talented QA engineer to join a growing business, working on a world-class ERP solution for high profile clients across the UK. You lead the QA function, helping to define the testing policies, and the tools used to ensure that software releases go out bug free and functioning correctly.

This is a remote role that will require you in a Cambridge office once a fortnight. There is a Norwich office that can be used daily if required also.

You will form part of a tight knit SCRUM team operating remotely, working alongside both development and product focused colleagues to ensure high quality software is ready for release. Ultimately the team aim to deliver a mature open-source platform used by big business to control and manage their business operations.

Who we're looking for -

- Someone that loves collaboration, and working with a team, and with clients alike.
- Equally, someone that can work independently when required.
- Automation Experience
- Automation tools - Selenium / Python etc.
- Exposure to Agile working methods
- Experience working on a number of different projects across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Experience supporting a major software release from a QA standpoint
- An eye for detail, and a passion for breaking things.

Ideally we're looking for someone who has a strong background in testing, but equally important is an the right personality. This role will need you to have a blend of 'approachability' and relationship building, with the gravitas and confidence to push code back to developer that does not pass tests.
