As the Senior Property Manager, you will be handling a portfolio of approximately 170 properties, mostly for overseas landlords, and ensuring the smooth running of the tenancies by providing landlords and tenants alike with a first-class service. In the next 12 months, there will be the opportunity for you to move into a more senior role, therefore, this role will suit someone who is keen to progress and move up the career ladder. Responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with utility and council tax companies, paying bills on landlords’ behalf
• Paying service charges and ground rent, dealing with block management regarding block issues
• Dealing with landlord and tenant queries, accounts, check out, deposit returns, maintenance queries and move in issues all to be dealt with in a timely manner
• Submitting insurance claims and deposit disputes - when needed
• Liaising with lettings negotiators to ensure pre-tenancy works are carried out
• Issuing and distributing 6A forms for termination of tenancies and liaising with solicitors for more complex issues
• Monitoring and chasing rent arrears.

Personal specification:

• 2+ years’ experience working in residential property management
• ARLA qualified would be preferred
• Customer service orientated
• Hard working
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent work ethic, being punctual and reliable.

This position comes a salary of up to £40,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
