A Senior Project Manager role based in the West Midlands paying between £40-£50k per annum, provides an exciting opportunity on a 12 month fixed term basis to manage a variety of multi-disciplinary complex projects for a public sector organisation dedicated to supporting growth and change in their sector.
Your new role
You will provide project management expertise across a number of multi-disciplinary high risk projects, implementing best practice via process, methodology, coaching and mentoring. In particular, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of a system implementation programme and will be involved in the procurement, design, build and implementation of the system. You will work with senior managers, work stream leads and executive level contacts providing communication and engaging on varying aspects of the projects. You will report on the project status and will provide feedback on progress accordingly, you will help map resource availability and will provide risk and issue management reports across all projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience of delivering fast paced change programmes/projects across multiple disciplines will lead to your success, as well as ideally having a track record of successfully procuring, developing and implementing systems. You will have experience of delivering best practice project management within a matrix environment, will have excellent communication skills and will hold a relevant project management qualification.
