Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of a number of existing and new projects within a portfolio of key customers, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This includes project risk analysis, conformity to CE marking regulations and all levels of validation including FAT and SAT to the customer, while ensuring the engineering departments and projects confirm to ISO 9001. You will have full budgetary control of projects from the initial product development stage, through to installation, commissioning and successful product launch.
Ideally degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, with a detailed understanding of the engineering principles related to either mechanical or electrical product design or product development and PLC's programming strategies. Current experience of CDM regulations is essential together with a good understanding of drawings by Solid Work & EPlan. Recent exposure to working on complex projects for major Automotive, Industrial or OEM companies would be a real advantage. This is a "hands on" customer facing role so excellent communication and influencing skills are also essential, to build credibility with a variety of key stakeholders within their blue-chip Automotive and Industrial customer base.
