Due to sustained success in securing projects throughout Oxford and the surrounding regions, our client is looking to recruit an outstanding Senior Project Manager, with a strong focus in the Private Sector, to attribute to their highly successful faction based in the Oxford Office. Projects range in value from £1m to £20m+ and are with a variety of high profile blue chip clients giving our Project Managers a diverse and exciting workload. - Successfully deliver Project Management services across a variety of market factors inclusive of residential, commercial property, education, and leisure
- Assist Senior staff on complex multi-faceted projects
- Offer support to the Senior Team as required on all company matters inclusive of business development, client management, bid writing, thought leadership
Personable requirements and skills
•A pertinent construction qualification or Prince2 and/or working to achieve professional membership of recognised institution i.e. APM or RICS
•Capability of both pre and post contract project management responsibilities, and be able to provide this service effectively to Clients
•Experience of both public and private sector clients
•Familiar with all aspects of project management and have some comprehension of both pre and post contract project responsibilities
•You will have delivered project management support at various phases of the project life-cycle
•A general knowledge of current legal developments in respect of construction and associated law
•Exemplary IT skills with an knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
•The capacity to effectively chair and minute meetings
•Possess exemplary stakeholder and organisational skills; coordinating, and accurately recording project meetings (possibly having chaired some as well) as well as the managing project documentation
•A courteous manner with a high level of professionalism - the ability to liaise with both internal and external factors of the business.
•Methodical and analytical, numerate, able to problem solve and be able to who to think complex issues through and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
•Driven and self-motivated to have gained a degree qualification and to continuously develop their technical and behavioural skills.
•Capability to work and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Possess exceptional standards of verbal and written communication skills.
•An ability to influence others via sound judgement and good sense
•Capable to work with the minimum of supervision and on their own initiative
