Steve Lord is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to work for a world leading pharmaceutical company. The Senior Project Manager will be working at their site in Hatfield on a full time permanent basis. This client is offering an opportunity to work for a pharmaceutical company that believes in putting patients and their families first, with the aim of improving healthcare benefits.

Overall function of the job:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for management of projects within CRM, approvals solutions (ie Zinc) and controlled document solutions as well as stakeholder engagement across multiple groups, horizon planning and future proofing of projects so that they are scaleable, cost efficient and demonstrate long-term value to the organisation.

As a Senior Project Manager you should have demonstrable skills and experience in:
-Pharmaceutical industry and project management processes
-Experience of the tools for running successful projects - RAID, RACI, URS, project plan
-Experience of working in regulatory environment- GXP; GMP; GDP.
-Experience of projects within electronic approvals, CRM solutions, reporting systems and controlled documents areas highly desirable.
-Projects managed in multi-country environment - implementation across a region eg EMEA
-Leadership and management of people/staff
-Prince 2 practitioner or equivalent qualification
-Versatile, able to manage more than one major project at a time
-Stakeholder engagement skills - able to rapidly build relationships

Main responsibilities:
-Supporting head of department in recruitment of personnel
-Leadership and management of any future contract personnel
-Working closely with head of department to implement departmental high performing team agenda
-Acting as a mentor to departmental colleagues to assist in developing talent
-Strategic planning by liaising with core stakeholders and understanding business direction
-Gathering insights on business initiatives and requirements and aligning projects to achieve economies of scale
-Leadership and management of multiple projects and ensuring delivery of agreed objectives
-Working closely with Head of Department on budget management and tracking of spend
