An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and driven individual to join the Derbyshire Programme Management Office (PMO) within the CCG. As Senior Programme Manager you will play a key role in the assurance of the Derbyshire System transformation and efficiency programme, and will work closely with senior management colleagues across Derbyshire on a regular basis to support the development of initiatives from inception to delivery, with the overall aim of increasing the success rate of projects, ensuring project related risks are managed effectively and service quality is delivered within agreed parameters.
As the PMO lead for a number of Derbyshire system wide delivery boards, you will play a key role in supporting the Assistant Director of PMO as well as providing support and management to the other members of the team as required. Contributing to the delivery of the CCG’s key priorities by developing and sustaining a controlled project management environment. You will develop and implement project standards and frameworks, providing assurance, including training, design and provision.
You will provide a key role in supporting the Assistant Director PMO in the development of the Strategic Planning Function for the CCG.
As well as excellent communications skills, you will bring substantial experience of proven successful project management. You will be able to work at pace, have great personal resilience and be a strong team player. A recognised project management qualification e.g. Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent (Prince 2 Practitioner) would be desirable.
