Senior Product Owner

As the Product Owner you must :

- Be passionate about our products and responsibilities in our market
- Generate ideas for how our products can make our customers more successful
- Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modelling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner
- Participate in formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales
- Work towards standardization of product delivery, client and company
- Have a clear understanding and overall awareness of all product offerings
- As an Agile Product Owner, use Agile methodologies best practice to complete assigned projects, working with a single Agile team
- Participate in Scrum Ceremonies including Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Scrum and Sprint Review
- Work with Production representatives on defining new standards and best practices
- Work with Production representatives on new product and application design and requirements
- Work with Engineering relating to RTSM products and applications on defining new standards and best practices

- Have a clear and complete understanding of all product offerings
- Work alongside specialist functional areas (Stats/ePRO/Reports etc.) in the provision of advice, standards and best practice
- As an Agile Product Owner, use Agile methodologies best practice to complete assigned projects, working with multiple Agile teams
- Domestic and international travel for design, development and bid defence meetings
- Represent the Product Owner group in audits
- Represent the Product Owner group in cross functional activities
- Represent eCDS Operations in cross departmental activities.

- Degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Or extensive appropriate experience of technical delivery in an IT service environment

- Prefer working in a highly collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Client focused approach to work
- A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies and knowledge of full project life cycle
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork
- Ability to elicit and critically evaluate business/technical requirements using techniques such as interviews, document analysis and requirements workshops
- Knowledge of RTSM, Medical Imaging or Patient Sensors products and services
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work on your own initiative
- The ability to build team working relations
- Some knowledge of clinical data management process for FDA regulated companies
- Familiarity with FDA regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP

Language Skills
- A good working knowledge of written and spoken English is required to ensure full communication within project teams and complete understanding of project specifications, test plans and other project documentation

Minimum Work Experience
- Knowledge of working in a professional and structured business/systems analysis and (or) software development/testing environment will be a key competency
- Strong previous product management skills ideally from either an IT or life science environment
