Senior Product Manager (Publishing) – Remote (UK-based)
£53,000 - £63,000 + bonuses, 35-hour work week and great benefits
This profitable and well-established organisation require an adept Product Manager to come in and oversee overall product development from conception to launch. You will work as part of the journals publishing division for a global publisher.
This role will involve strategy planning as well as leading a team, whilst collaborating with multiple departments to ensure the successful delivery and commercial success of the product suite.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring products are built and developed to meet the customer’s and market needs with feedback and R&D critical to the team. For this role, you will have a background in scholarly publishing and have worked directly in research journal publishing and commissioning.
The role will be primarily remote, with the expectation of once a month travel to Yorkshire. They also get together for quarterly company days and travel can be expensed.

Package:
- 35-hour work week
- Up to 20% bonus
- 30 days holidays + bank holidays (plus buy and sell 5 more days)

Experience:
- Must have experience in journals commissioning
- Background in the publishing industry essential
- Team leadership experience would be desirable
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Product development experience
- End-to-end operations knowledge
- Experience of sales cycles, processes and customers.
- Expertise of full project life cycle, management and structured development processes
