Senior Product Manager

Main Duties
  • Define, own and communicate a roadmap vision for key product areas which delivers products and features to drive revenue growth through strong positioning and differentiation
  • Collaborate with product sponsors, development/implementation teams, and other stakeholder groups to ensure timely development and delivery of high-quality products within an agile development framework
  • Be responsible for running requirements gathering workshops to capture desired business requirements and then translating those requirements into a practical software solution via standard business analysis and artefacts including agile user stories
  • Champion ongoing competitive, market, and user research to ensure decisions are based on sound use of both qualitative and quantitative data and when to incorporate new solutions into the existing product line
  • Ensure UX is a standard component of the development lifecycle, with a relentless focus on world-class UX
  • Develop product business cases that capitalize on market opportunities to generate revenue growth or cost savings and that define and analyse metrics to inform the success of products
Skills and Experience
  • 5 + years Product Management experience, ideally within an e-commerce environment
  • Strong analytical ability with a data driven strategic mind-set
  • Experience in managing stakeholders of varying seniorities
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Experience of working with offshore development teams
  • Experience of analysing the performance of existing products, managing KPIs, and identifying opportunities based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Undertakes regular competitive analysis of similar products.
  • Experience of the full product lifecycle from concept to implementation and post-launch analysis
  • In-depth experience of identifying and understanding user needs and behaviour in a business to business and business to consumer product environment
  • Exceptional collaboration skills
  • Proven experience of working closely with a team of engineers (preferably in an agile development environment) to deliver new business functionality
  • Ability to take ownership, creatively solve problems, and pro-actively secure the objectives of the business
