Senior Procurement Specialist - Contract Public Sector
The organisation deals with a diverse range of areas from National large scale programmes to smaller localised ones. As such there is a large range of procurements in size4 and value.
- Leading or assisting in strategy development optimising value for money
- Work with stakeholders within the organisation and with the wider Scottish Government
- Provide specialist procurement, commercial and contractual advice and guidance on EU, policy and procedures requirements.
- Manage the complete end-to-end procurement process of allocated procurements from initial conception through to contract award and contract delivery
What We Are Looking For
You will be an experienced procurement professional who has full knowledge of the end to end procurement process (including strategic procurement techniques, sourcing and tendering, supplier and contract management, and negotiation). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. It is preferred that you have membership of a relevant professional boy (such as CIPS) and that you have some experience of delivering public procurement projects.
