Unique opportunity to join an organisation at the beginning of a transformation programme in which procurement will become a leading part of all future business strategy. This role will challenge an individual to come up with new ways to engage with and influence stakeholders whilst also delivering value.

Client Details

A progressive non-profit organisation embarking on a considerable growth/change programme. My client is an employer of choice in the local market renowned for offering long term career progression and the upskilling of it's people.


The key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the transformation of a procurement function
  • Taking the lead on the delivery of tenders (both OJEU and sub-OJEU) for the organisation
  • Advising and engaging with business stakeholders and influencing at all levels
  • Providing assistance to the wider organisation on compliance and contributing towards policy formation


The ideal candidate will be:

  • Able to demonstrate a strong track record in procurement positions - OJEU experience would be preferential
  • A real 'people person'. Able to build relationships with a variety of different stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced in the full procurement life-cycle including contract management
  • Capable of driving a forward-thinking culture within procurement
  • Able to challenge the staus quo of an organisation
  • Experienced in running mini-competitions and at ease with etendering
  • Able to turn their hand to a multitude of different indirect spend categories
  • MCIPS qualified

Job Offer

Competitive salary of £35,000 - £38,000 DOE + Car allowance + benefits
