SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER / CONSULTANT - HERTFORDSHIRE - c£50-60ph

A pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation are looking for 2 Senior Process Engineers / Consultants at their plant in the Hertfordshire area on an initial 6 month basis.

The core function of the role is to lead and provide technical expertise on all aspects of process engineering, working with Capital Projects troubleshooting any design work that has been carried out from the Principal Contractors and liaise with them and being the SME. As well as this, the role will involve Commissioning, Qualification and supporting Validation for process equipment. Some of the following mentioned:

Fermenters
Centrifuges
Pressure vessels
Autoclaves

In order to be considered for this position candidates will need to hold a Degree or equivalent in Process / Chemical / Biochemical Engineering. Candidates will need to have proven hands on Process Engineering experience working within a pharmaceutical / biotech / aseptic / sterile manufacturing environment and possess excellent understanding of Commissioning, Process Design, P&ID's, Mass & Heat Balance, URS, Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, DQ, FAT) and supporting areas of Process Safety.

The role for a Senior Process Engineer may be suitable for candidates who have held positions such as Chemical Engineer, Chemical Process Engineer, Chemical Design Engineer, Process Consultant, Process Lead, C&Q Lead, C&Q Engineer, Senior Process Engineer or Lead Process Engineer, Process Manager.

The role is based in Hertfordshire and is commutable from Essex, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, London and other areas across the South East of England.
