Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer in Glasgow City Centre

They take on a varied and interesting workload predominantly within the residential, commercial, industrial and rail sectors that has been consistently growing. With this growth in workload, they are now looking to add a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer to their busy and vibrant Glasgow office.
Your new role
In your new role you will oversee all aspects of Geotechnical design including such as slope stability,retaining structures and piled foundations. You will also be responsible for leading site investigations and undertaking risk assessments for in line with national standards. A key part of this role will be liaising with clients and supporting the development of new business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a degree in Geotechnical Engineering or engineering geology or similar. Ideally, you will have Chartership or be working towards it. It is preferable that you have a Geotechnical bias and are able to use knowledge/experience to effectively develop solutions to Geotechnical constraints. Due to the nature of the role, you will have a proven ability in project management, tender management and bid completion. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for the teamwork and client liaison aspects of this job.
