We've recently invested significantly improving our technical engine room skills in pricing, market intelligence and the supporting infrastructure and now a rare exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pricing Analyst to support and influence the future growth of the business, with key deliverables to increase conversion, retention and overall company income and profitability.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Pricing Analyst:
Provide detailed analysis of data using sophisticated actuarial and statistical techniques that inform pricing actions to increase volume, income and profit.
Increase Ageas' conversion, retention and overall company income and profitability.
Develop, validate and review predictive and machine learning models
Run data for modelling, pricing and monitoring
Development and delivery of up to date and accurate datasets for modelling, pricing and monitoring
Development and maintenance of pricing models and support for their deployment
Carry out price optimisation and prepare options for senior stakeholders

Here are some of the main skills, knowledge and experience required to be successful in the Senior Pricing Analyst role:
At least 4 years Pricing Experience in Personal Lines Insurance.
Highly skilled in the use of programming language (e.g. SAS) to manipulate data.
Experienced in the use of a programming language (e.g. R, Matlab, Python or Octave)
Strong experience using Radar or an equivalent tool
A good quantitative degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Actuarial Science would be beneficial
