Senior Pre-sales Consultant - Essential Abilities:

  • In depth understanding of the area of Master Data Management and good practical experience with at least one competitor tool
  • In depth understanding of the area of Data Quality and good practical experience with at least one competitor tool
  • Experience of delivering 'Proof of Concepts’ (POC)
  • Experience using development environment such as Eclipse
  • A team player with the ability to adopt a leadership role where necessary
  • Previous career history within a pre-sales focused role
  • Educated to degree level preferably in Computer Science or similar
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Ability to discuss and demonstrate business benefits and value to a customer of a technical solution
  • Ability to translate technical and business requirements into cost-efficient solutions

Senior Pre-sales Consultant - Main Responsibilities:

You will be tasked with the coordination of technical pre-sales activities. Assisting in all levels of technical account planning you will be expected to accompany Sales Account Managers on visits to customers. In addition you will also Assist in the development of formal sales proposal and presents and differentiates product offerings at a technical level from the competition. You will also actively participate in internal specialist teams and provide consultative support in specialist areas to other Pre-sales Consultants.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations
  • Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities
  • Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Deliver Proof Of Concepts (POC)
  • Provide first-line technical support for software evaluations and/or pilot projects
  • Support at external and internal customer facing events
  • Build technical relationship with prospects or existing customers
