This impressive, rapidly growing owner managed firm of Accountants in Leeds are looking to appoint an experienced Practice Accountant. This business has gone from strength to strength and has won a string of local and national business awards over recent years. Supporting the Managing Director you will play an integral role in overseeing the responsibility of the accounts and tax department and managing the team.
Duties will include:
Managing a portfolio of up to 500 clients
Accounts preparation for SME limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
Providing full accounts for each client with some supporting analysis
Taxation of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders and individuals including flat rate planning
VAT and PAYE
Advise and train client using Xero payroll and Sage payroll
Client meetings and advisory includuding dividend planning
Management and development of staff
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years senior practice hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA) but QBE will be considered. CTA / ATT qualification (preferable) Sage Line 50 (essential), Sage Payroll (essential), Xero (preferable), Xero Working Papers (preferable)
