Provide support on priority programmes and projects, ensuring projects are running within the group Governance model.
Ensure projects are running within the Project Governance model.
Own the support of a number of projects (combination of large and small and IT and non-IT) including:
Scheduling of project meetings from central calendar and coordinating materials
Attending project meetings; provide structure, record key discussion points, decisions, action items and follow up
Assist Project Manager in the tracking of project budget, providing a full forecast for all phases of the delivery (including following up on 3rd party invoices)
Assist Project Manager in the tracking of key milestones and overall project plan
Assist in the identification, escalation and monitoring of project related Risks, Issues and Dependencies
Proactively identify areas that are at risk or slipping behind plan and flagging to Project Manager
Ensure project documentation and associated project information is held centrally and up to date on the Project workspace on SharePoint
Assist in monthly Executive level reporting of project status.
Support a range of other PMO tasks including operational - e.g. time sheet management - and strategic - e.g. process redesign - as required by the PMO team lead.

This change impacts our governance model and our approach to project delivery - understanding how we best organise ourselves, defining new processes and how the PMO successfully facilitates that is our current focus.
The successful candidate will be joining the team as we embark on the transition to this model
The operations function has been re-organised to support a platform model so it can't be emphasised enough how important it is that this person is comfortable with ambiguity and change.
The candidate should be:
Passionate about PMO and looking to build a career in this space
Organised, structured and with a disciplined approach - but accept of the need to be flexible where it makes sense (this is important!)
Previous experience working in an organisation that has adopted a platform orientated and agile delivery models
Previous experience working in a central/enterprise PMO as well as project level support roles
A problem solver, can take on challenges and work through options to resolve and encourage smart ways of working - engaging with multiple stakeholders
