Senior Planning Enforcement Officer, Paying up to £33Ph, Thriving North London location

Your new role

To be responsible for the processing of Development Management matters within a function based team with responsibility for Planning enforcement projects and appeals. To work alongside the Planning Enforcement team leader in reducing the Planning Enforcement backlog of cases. To be accountable to to the Planning Enforcement Team leader for achieving agreed service outcomes and personal appraisal targets.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong communication skills to present clear ideas and effective reports. The ability to plan, manage and monitor projects including the ability to act on own initiative and meet deadlines. A relevant qualification in Town Planning which supports membership of the RTPI with good experience in planning. A understanding of enforcement legislation and ability to produce written reports to a high quality.
