My Nottinghamshire based client operate within the FMCG industry and are looking to add a Senior Planner to their growing team. You will ensure will deliver the highest levels of product availability, balanced against the costs of supply and will manage the day-to-day supply chain operations of designated core factories.
My client are a forward-thinking, fast-paced, innovative organisation who operate within the FMCG industry.
The Senior Planner will develop and improve Supply Chain processes and parameters including improved communication with factories and specifically lead time and MOQ reduction, ensuring that business requirements become higher profile within those factories through good relationships and effective management.
The Senior Planner will use planning and forecasting tools in order to schedule purchase orders and confirm factory production, ensuring that products arrive at the business in a timely and cost effective manner. You will also create a six month product intake forecast by factory in financial terms and create monthly rolling forecast for designated factories.
The Senior Planner based in Nottinghamshire will have previous experience within planning and forecasting alongside Excel and/or SAP experience.
You will have excellent communication skills in order to manage stakeholders at all levels, strong commercial awareness and experience of working with the Far East.
