Senior Planner (Marketing Agency)

Key responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Executive Creative Director
  • Deliver planning projects from brief through to completion, ensuring strategic thinking is at the heart of the project
  • Deliver high standards of output across all strategic and planning projects
  • Confidently delivering presentations to senior client audiences and to actively leading client engagements on a daily basis
  • Extract insights from research and identify the ideas that the insights inspire to help a brand grow
  • Empower the creative team to generate ideas from inspiring insights and help to lead the planning side of the creative process internally and externally
  • Take client briefs, develop and deliver proposals and write compelling creative briefs
  • Spot opportunities for new projects from existing clients and convert these into projects
  • Manage time to meet deadline, budget and maintain quality
  • Produce commercially astute and inspiring strategy presentations
  • Work collaboratively to achieve the agencies marketing and communication objectives
  • Manage the planning team

5+ years’ experience, preferably from an agency background
demonstrable skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
excellent communication skills
a natural presenter
proactive team player
