Senior Planner - Major project

Working on a major project for a minimum of 24 months freelance

Location:- Bristol
Salary:- £450 per day
Duration:- 24 month contract minimum

Role Description:
Due to a major project award my client is looking for a Senior Planner to take the lead on a £250 million scheme for minimum of the next 2 years. With a mix of Civil engineering, New build Construction and M&E (Building services) installation over the duration of the project.

This is working as part of a JV and as such travel will be required to various locations as required by the client and JV partners. This will be for progress meeting and project reports so not on a daily basis and full business expenses will be covered.

Reporting to the Project Control Manager, the Senior Planner is responsible for the master P6 programme databases covering; contract programme, tendering programme, supplier programme and back up scenarios. The Senior Planner shall have a team of planners reporting to them across multiple project locations pulling together the packages of works.

You will need major project experience to be considered ideally managing a small team of planners and used to the delays and changes that a major project brings. This is a large and complex engineering project using Primevera P6 and working with other JV partners.
