Senior Physicist -Complex Technology - Cambridge
A market leading scientific engineering company within the Cambridge cluster are actively looking for a Senior Physicist to join their team of highly skilled engineers and scientists to work on state-of-the art technologies.
This exciting new role will give an experienced Physicist an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of the medical devices and scientific instrumentation sectors within a highly innovative and forward thinking commercial environment. We are looking for people who love solving complex problems and enjoy pushing development to new heights. In regards to the nitty-gritty of the role you will be responsible for the design, development and testing of either incremental improvements for well-known products or brand new disruptive technologies, alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.
To be considered for this exciting Physicist role you will need to have a high scoring degree in Physics or related subject from a leading university as well as commercial experience gained working on products within medical devices, scientific instrumentation, defence or sensor sectors. Any knowledge of chemistry or natural sciences would be extremely beneficial.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required as is a strong entrepreneurial flare and the desire to progress through the company.
