Reed's client has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Pensions and Benefits Administrator (Scheme Events), I have a great opportunity based in Edinburgh
Working within an HR Service Centre environment, this role is responsible for providing a high quality service to the clients. Working within the Scheme Events Section of the Pensions and Benefits Team to ensure the effective delivery of a Pensions Administration service.
The ideal candidate will be already working as a Senior Pensions Administrator or Pensions Administrator within the Pension's industry (preferably for a Third Party Administrator or an in-house provider) and should possess strong pensions administration skills. Between 3 to 5 years background experience is desirable.
The role requires a combination of Pensions experience, familiarity with Service Centre principles and team working skills.
Ideal candidates will have:
• Knowledge of Defined Contribution Occupational Pension Schemes. Knowledge of Defined Benefit Occupational Pension Schemes is also desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ideally, having the ability to demonstrate use of Excel at an intermediate level. Work will involve VLookUps, Pivot Tables, Data Views and formulae.
• All aspects of bulk task or Scheme Events administration, including production of valuation extracts, production of annual pension statements, lifestyle process, bonus waiver, tax year end activity, carry forward scope calculations, data cleanse, report writing and project work.
• Knowledge of Hartlink Administration System
