Senior Pensions Administrator - DB/DC

A leading UK Financial Services Group with a large Birmingham presence are looking to recruit a highly competent and organised candidate with excellent communication skills to take up a key position. Working in this technical oriented role you will be responsible for a diverse client base and overseeing complex pensions work being carried out in Birmingham and other UK offices.
The role will involve -
·Providing technical support to the Team Leader, including client management, handling complex pension cases & queries and performing complex pension / benefit calculations.
·Project manage renewals, benefit statements and pension increases. Ensure that these projects are completed within the assigned timeframes.
·Help out of London offices manage complex pensions work and interpretation of scheme rules.
·Manage project related work such as Pension increase exchange exercises, GMP reconciliations and Flexibility options projects.
·Assist with the implementation of departmental procedures and changes.
·Work closely with finance, IT and payroll to ensure clients receive the best service levels.
·Take an active role in managing smaller clients needs and requirements, assist with presentations and take an active role in assisting with new business closure.
To apply for this position you must have extensive knowledge of DB / DC schemes, be an excellent communicator and be at ease dealing with clients. Project related experience would also be advantageous as would a numerical educational background.
