Salary: £27,000-£30,000

Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

Optima Professional Services are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join an innovative company that specialises in improving businesses potential by providing expert employee engagement and HR services.

This position is a great opportunity for an existing Payroll or Senior Payroll individual that has taken on responsibility of the whole payroll process.

Duties will include full payroll process, including but not limited to:

  • Inputting of payroll data

  • Reporting of payroll data

  • Payroll of maternity payments, pension submissions et.

  • To ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time

  • Period end reporting

  • Resolving complex payroll queries

  • Liaising with the Pensions Consultant

  • Ad-hoc system configuration

The Candidate

  • You will need to have previous experience in a similar role and be confident in your ability to accurately process payroll

  • You will have experience in a bureau setting or processed processed payroll for a high volume of candidates

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • You will need to be passionate about your role and a team player

  • This role will be supporting both UK and Republic of Ireland Payroll systems, if you have experience of the Republic of Ireland this would be advantageous but not essential
