The Business

My client are a wealth planning firm with offices in Horsham who who offer financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 500+ clients assets ranging from £100k - £1m+.

The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning. They do have mortgage/protection advisers inhouse who deal with more transactional advice but generate lots of internal referrals. They have very longstanding relations stretching back many years. They additionally receive lots of recommendations via a longstanding relationship they have from a solicitor firm they work very closely with.

The Role

The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Paraplanner who will be responsible for the end to end technical work, working alongside 2 other paraplanners. The advisers are generating lots of new business via referrals from their exiting clients. The team are incredibly busy and need someone who doesn't need training and is an established paraplanner. You will have a broad range of knowledge across pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, protections and the occasional esoteric scheme. *****Experience is more important than qualifications**** they value experience doing the role as opposed to qualifications gained, so you do not need to be studying towards the level 4 diploma.
