The Senior Paid Social Executive plays a key role in managing the performance of the Paid Social marketing channels to achieve significant business growth for TUI brands in the UK (Thomson and First Choice) as well as leading the overall strategy created by the PPC manager. Paid social is one of the fastest growing online marketing channels at TUI and this role will thrive to develop the true potential of direct response marketing on social media platforms

You will work within a team of performance marketing specialists whose objective is to deliver the overall digital marketing strategy and ensure our marketing performance and technology stack are best in class to achieve our objectives.

Paid Social marketing for the travel industry is growing increasingly sophisticated and diverse and this role is central to driving the optimisational performance of our Paid Social marketing. You will work at within a team that is at the forefront of performance marketing and be involved in a number of exciting projects to drive the business forward. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to build upon their existing Paid Social/online marketing experience and become a future leader in the Social media marketing.

This role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover.

What you will be doing

As a Senior Paid Social Executive you will be responsible for managing, on a day to day basis, the performance of the Paid Social accounts. You will work with your line manager and line report to proactively drive improved performance of all our social campaigns and social paid activity.

The key part of this role is to grow our Paid social activity whilst maintaining strong KPI performance. Another part of this role is to align campaigns with other areas of TUI’s social activity like brand campaigns and our engagement teams.

You will have a key role working with our external/internal teams to manage the effectiveness of our budgets to ensure we achieve business targets and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

You will have management responsibility for developing and maintaining a reporting framework that clearly attributes value in Paid Social marketing and communicates this to the wider business as part of planned timings and ad-hoc reporting. You will manage the production, analysis and improvement of key Paid Social marketing metrics to drive success.

You will be expected to lead the account development plan and ensure key projects are on track.

In conjunction with your line manager you will work on communicating successes and trends within social media to the wider business as well as keeping financial records up to date.

What we are looking for
  • Experience of running campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. 
  • Experience of large/medium size paid social accounts and social technologies
  • Good communicator with internal departments and external agency partners
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills & use of MS Excel
  • Must be flexible to adjust to a fast changing environment and be comfortable working under pressure
  • Photoshop and creative optimisation experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
  • Creative, innovative and ideas orientated approach
  • Team Player with the ability to be autonomous in their work
