As a Senior Personal Assistant to four Assistant Directors, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the mission of NHS Blood and Transplant to save and improve lives. Our Assistant Directors of Donor Experience will rely on you for comprehensive office and administrative support at a time of exciting change - and beyond.

Ensuring the smooth running of the Donor Experience Directors office, you’ll enjoy a wide range of responsibilities. These will range from preparing papers and minuting meetings, through to coordinating travel and accommodation, managing the Directors’ diary and carrying out research online. No two days will ever be quite the same.

Along the way, you will liaise closely with fellow senior PAs and communicate regularly with senior personnel across the organisation, to make sure progress is made on the Donor Experience agenda. Put simply, you will be integral to helping business transformation happen without a hitch. This will ultimately enable us all to do better than ever at transforming the lives of patients and their families.

To be equal to the challenge, you’ll need excellent organisational skills and proven, relevant experience in a busy office environment. You’ll bring to the role impressive skills in using the Microsoft Office suite, including the creation of Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

Excellent communication skills in English are vital, both in person and in writing. You should demonstrate keyboard skills supported by, or equivalent to, RSA level 2. Crucially, you are a real team player with a passion for customer care.

In return for your dedication you will benefit from our commitment to support your ongoing development, in a lively and friendly environment. You’ll also enjoy a range of NHS benefits including a generous holiday allowance, attractive pension scheme and exclusive discounts.
